Maggie Lindemann rocked a sold out show at SOMA San Diego on March 21, 2023, for her first stop on the Suckerpunch World Tour. Fans were waiting outside since the early hours of that morning anticipating Maggie’s show.
Maggie Lindemann is a pop/rock artist who got her start after her manager, Gerald Tennison, discovered a video of her singing on Instagram at the age of 16. She’s best known for her 2016 single “Pretty Girls”, which is RIAA Certified 2x Platinum.
Maggie Lindemann started the show off with her song “Take Me Nowhere”, which was the perfect introduction to what the show was going to feel like. The crowd was loving it, jumping up and down while singing along with her. She then went into her single “Scissorhands” which was from her EP Paranoia.
The lighting was very minimum kept to some blues, reds and greens but it overall fit the album’s asthenic. It was the perfect fit for her, and for the rock crowd that went to see her. For the slower songs the lighting would be centered on her and it felt like it was just her and her devoted fans.
She ended the show with her single “She Knows It”, which her fans screamed to. As it is her hit from the album Suckerpunch. San Diego made a great impression of how this tour will go for Maggie Lindemann, and it will be a rocking time for anyone that chooses to go to the show. This is just the first stop for a long journey Maggie Lindemann has ahead. You definitely don’t want to miss this one.
