The Wrecks came to San Diego on November 17, 2022 and performed at The House of Blues in Downtown. It was a Friday night and the line to get into the show was wrapped around the venue which included a nearby hotel. On a night like this there is plenty to do in San Diego yet, the thousands of people chose to spend their night with The Wrecks.
The Show opened with an Alternative band named Arlie. Arlie instantly got the crowd fired up when they came out. Their set was about 30 minutes but it felt longer and left the crowd wanting more.
Lead singer Nathaniel Banks brought out his signature saxophone for a few songs. The crowd seemed to love this, their energy was electric and strongly felt throughout the venue.
It was now showtime for the main act, and the crowd could not have been more excited for The Wrecks to rock the stage. Before they started, the whole crowd was singing along to “Unwritten” by Natasha Bedingfield before the band took the stage. The high enegry from the crowd made for a great entrance from the band.
The crowd went screamed so loud it shook the whole venue. The Wrecks started out with “Out of Style”, the tempo was upbeat and was a perfect opening song. The band was jumping around with tons of energy, while the crowd was following along. Their performance was electric throughout the night, they never missed a beat. The crowd loved the music and if you missed it, you missed out on a great show.
